RFS AGM
It was the first meeting of the Megalong Rural Fire Service since we joined so we thought we'd better attend, even with 5 kids in tow.
Fortunately the expected rain didn't arrive (not that rain is often unwelcome) so they played handball and cricket pretty happily outside. That's the advantage of a big family: not hard to field a team.
I hovered between supervising them and the meeting.
Then there was a pretty decent lunch thanks to the $500 voucher donated by Coles.
Their parents have now returned from their well earned break and we are back in the peace of the valley.
Poor Mr isbi has shingles so feeling a bit miserable. As he says, like gout it may sound funny but neither is.
