Purple Jelly Disc

This rather unattractive fungus (in my eyes at least) was spotted on my wet walk this morning. I think it's purple jelly disc fungus. I went out early to avoid the worst of the forecast rain - it was ok, but very dark and grey yet again. I recently bought a hi-vis coat for dark day walks. It cost £20. It's bright orange, long, warm, windproof and waterproof....a bargain!
