Tide Coming In

Once again a chilly day. Went for a fish and chip dinner at Martonian (comes with a free drink!) then went on the beach to take a few photos.

It was a little overcast and dull, but managed to get this and only used my camera in manual mode (aren't I good!)

Followed the advice of my tutor and did a meter reading, adjusted my camera accordingly (because I now understand what all the numbers mean) and took the shot. Checked my histogram after and it was good.

Now I can't say that I'll go through this palaver every shot....sometimes things happen so quickly one wouldn't have time, but practice makes perfect and things get quicker. Just glad I understand it all to be fair!
