Reliable orchids

These orchids always flower at this time of year despite the fact that they get almost no care or attention. They spend their summers outside and their winters in a cold unheated porch but they seem to thrive on this regime. Sadly I don’t really get to appreciate their flowers but when I kept one inside it refused to flower. At least they brighten up the porch on a miserable, wet day and the postman tells me he likes them.
