The Surviving Volunteer
A couple of months ago I removed as much of a Volunteer Ash which was growing very close to one of our Oaks.
Today’s Blipfoto shows that the Volunteer has been reincarnated and is making great progress.
Oh, Well.
We are going through a period of cold and wet weather. I really do not like the wet, and tend to stay indoors working on projects.
This afternoon we make a trip to King’s Cross. (One of the hospitals located in Dundee. Pat has an appointment to have her bone density checked.
The appointment is for 3:30 p.m. The sun is just about to set, although the dull wet weather ensures we arrive in darkness.
Pat makes her way into the building following the marked out route and is seen almost immediately. The hospital is effectively empty. Half an hour later, Pat is back in the car and we set off in the wet and dark making our way back to the Kingdom (of Fife).
Time for a cocktail.
