The deadline for getting our home-crafted Secret Santa sent out is this weekend, so I spent a fair bit of Saturday trying to create something from those sparse resources. (Not there yet, so a photo will have to wait.) Lots of cutting, slicing, glueing - and even some of that on the craft item also.

First up, though, was updating the church website and blog with a whole range of material relating to our Advent and Christmas activities. This took a little longer than expected since my computer decided it wasn't going to play nicely. However, all ended well and it was time to turn my attention to the craft in hand.

It seemed no time before it was late afternoon, almost early evening, and I still hadn't crossed the doorstep. Time to abandon the kitchen table and the assorted mess and have a wander.

Walked up to the shop with a few meandering detours to see what was out there in terms of outdoor Christmas decorations - nothing out of the ordinary it has to be said - and took a photo of the Christmas tree installed by the local council. Applied a star filter effect just to brighten it up a little and then continued on my way. A late dinner in front of the TV. Another day of crafting no doubt awaits on Sunday
