Old chair

Today I started stripping the Voltaire chair we bought last month. Beneath the awful 80s pattern there is still the original lush red velvet cover. The foam however are all rotten so will also need replaced. A bigger project than expected but it will be fun...

It was too nice to stay inside all day so Louise and I had a nice walk in the old village of Bourdeaux and collected ivy and moss for the Christmas decoration. Meanwhile Sandy drove to Avignon to collect Natasha who took the Eurostar from London this morning.
