A Different Dents du Midi

.... from above Morgins, an area that I do not know well. We “skinned up” (using false seal skins on the bases of our skis) to La Foilleuse in perfect powder and a gentle mist. The forest was so beautiful despite the many people also doing the same but quicker! When we eventually emerged into the sunshine it was magical, floating on the cloud were all our high peaks. We were invited to a friend’s for a fondue and am now at home falling asleep waiting for a friend to arrive who is setting off to drive alone to Majorca, 3 days journey!
