David Attenborough on High

The window display in our local second-hand bookshop caught my eye and I couldn't resist taking a couple of shots, one with and one without the flash. The flash reflected in the glass of course, but I quite like the effect. Looks as though David Attenborough is sending down a thunderbolt as a warning that we must protect the planet! Sometimes I think governments need a thunderbolt or two to spur them into taking action on climate change before it's too late. Not sure whether or not the window is part of the town's 'Winter Wonderland'.

A merry evening weighing out the ingredients for a Yule cake, and putting the dried fruit to soak in brandy and orange juice. With Johnnie Walker's Rock Show for company. Perfect!
