A Day In The Life

What the?

With the warmer temps this morning we went outside to shovel more snow and ice from the last storm. Finally, the mailbox, shed and little trash building all have clear access. Birds were fed and the wreath and kissing ball were returned to the outdoors. I had brought them in before the last storm to prevent them from being ruined by sleet and freezing rain. Since we’re closer to Christmas they’ll stay out now • Times have changed. Our evergreen decorations once lasted all winter in the snow. Now, they’re lucky to make it to New Year’s because of all the non-snow precipitation. Oh, well, one day Santa will be living in the Green Pole • Walking around my eye caught something white up high in the cherry tree. I laughed when I got a closer look. Remember those apples I put around the cherry tree at dusk last night? One piece made its way into the tree, lol! My guess? A squirrel • Have a Holly Jolly Sunday!
