Christmas cake

I made a Christmas cake today. I'm going to my brother's for Christmas, so my contribution will be the cake. It's also my first attempt at a Christmas cake. I followed my mum's Christmas cake recipe, which is quite a straightforward one. The cake is cooling down at the moment and I'll decorate it just before I go over to my brother's next week. Here's hoping it tastes good and also that I can sucessfully decorate it!
