Loved at last

The front garden by the front door and letterbox is where the 2 university students worked yesterday. Finally it's weeded and loved with compost, blood and bone, clay breaker, and sheep pellets.

I've been watering it this evening. I prefer to hand water. The bright green blobs lower right are a reasonably unusual form of hebe. They don't like wet feet whereas some of their neighbours don't care either way.

Last evening I watched a movie about the photographer Robert Mapplethorpe. It's the first major thing I've watched on screen in 3 months. It seemed ok at the time but today I'm shattered.

Ah well, now I know something else about my recovering brain's limits.

Today's gratitude: For being able to take a flexible approach to today.
