joy...

...on this 3rd sunday of advent

on this 3rd sunday of advent - there is rejoicing in the coming - of christ our king - as a christ follower - i look to the scripture verse - of luke 2:10-11 - as i thank abba for the - joy he gives us - and the joy yet to come

but the angel said to them, ‘don’t be afraid, for look, i proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all people. today in the city of david a savior was born for you, who is the messiah, the lord.’ luke 2:10-11

now, more than ever - as tumult continues to rock - our world beyond anything - we have ever seen or heard - it’s important for us to have - something solid and reliable to - hang onto which has - been proven steadfast - for me, it’s my faith in a risen - lord who came into this world - long ago as a baby boy - it was good news then - it remains great news now - bringing a joy to my heart - despite the despair around us - and confirming for me - i can count on...
