Broken Stem

A walk in the rain, not much choice in the matter, but refreshing and the colours are richer in the wet. I liked the gold of these decaying leaves and didn't see the broken stem until later. Just shows how fixated one can become looking through the viewfinder, forgetting to look around the frame.

There was a stiff breeze, hence an increase in iso for a faster shutter. I was keen not to hang around - must research umbrellas that attach to a tripod so I can be comfortable photographing in the rain.
