Not all Metric

As a child of the old Imperial era it is nice to see some things that remain that way given the metric system we now use. I understand feet and inches and can associate these with the size of physical things but just cannot do that with metric.

Mind you it is easier to calculate things in metric as most things are multiples of ten and in old money it was 12" to a foot, three feet to a yard etc etc.

I shall now go and put the dinosaur part of me back in the cupboard.
