Grey day. Ice fishing alone. No one in sight.
Very Finnish.



I was walking with P (from work) and her dog Rocky around pond Turranlampi. Funny that she's lived her childhood next to the pond and didn't know it existed. I showed her the way. She told me there's bears in the woods. I kind of knew that but haven't really wanted to think about that. Well right now the bears are sleeping so we can wonder in the woods.



The dogs had their yearly vaccinations this morning. All went well. Even Buddha was able to go through the whole thing without a muzzle. They've been sleeping most of the day after that. They always get sleepy after vaccination. Buddha also got some medicine to help him through New Years Eve. In Spain they only give out herbal remedies for dogs, but this time we got some actual medicine, which has helped many dogs. I hope he's able to tolerate it. Some - very small - percentages of dogs are allergic to it. We will see.
