Looking For Colour On A Grey Day

It was another grey day today! Not just grey but, THICK fog in the morning. In fact, it remained foggy for hours, although it did lift in the middle of the afternoon and the sunshine was fantastic at long last!

It ended up being a huge errand day for me. I took out Alfie the Campervan as he needed a good run. I had several things to drop off, return or exchange. They were all places that had remained open during our recent 4-week lockdown, but I tried to avoid any unnecessary errands. I found these bright Santas and snowmen and ‘Mooses’ at a garden centre. They were rather cheerful but I didn’t buy any!

I ended up at Costco and by that time I was famished, so I bought one of their pizza slices and ate it in the Campervan since they’re doing takeout only. The pizza got devoured pretty quickly!

Last stop was the car wash. Alfie badly needed a good wash after several camping trips this summer and autumn. They do a VERY thorough job at this one. Nice to be squeaky clean! And a great feeling to get lots of things ticked off my list!
