The girl.

This girl was very shy as a child but she joined a Youth Theatre group which increased her confidence. She went to an average comprehensive school with little record of academic success but she worked hard and with the encouragement of a dedicated teacher, achieved excellent results. On arrival at Oxford to study English she was subjected to disparaging remarks from tutors regarding her educational background but she rose above them and enjoyed university life to the full, leaving with a good degree.
I couldn't admire her more for pursuing her dreams. My girl.
