An unwelcome surprise

Woke up this morning to light snow and was about to run down to the pharmacy when I discovered the car had been broken into.

I wasn't entirely sure to begin with, as we are not the most car-proud people in the world. But a quick look at the passenger's seat was enough to confirm we had been victims of an attempted robbery.

I say "attempted" because for once we have been heeding the wise advice passed out by police forces everywhere to not keep valuables in your car. 

We are down three quarters, a nickel and a box of tissues. The latter item confirms my theory that the thief is a big wanker.
