Another Christmas tree

This one was in Caffè Nero on Morningside Road where I met up with T. Again, we tried to go to Maxime's as last Sunday, and it was the same story this time - there were tables free, but they were "unavailable". We might give up trying soon, particularly as they aren't very apologetic or helpful about it. But, as before, Caffè Nero was fine. Their decaf coffee is as good as the full-caf.

Otherwise it was more tidying and trips up and down stairs taking recycling to the on-street bin (you have to time it right – the bins get full up before they are emptied – Saturdays and Sundays are usually OK); also more books to go to the Amnesty shop as far as my car. It had rained hard in the morning but I’m glad we didn’t call the café outing off as it had dried up mostly by the time I went out.
