Hope - Bethlehem Shepherd

Being excluded from church stimulates interest in the building. So wanting to add to a range of photos we use in the live stream I took some photos of more windows today. This one is labelled 'Hope;, it is obviously a shepherd looking at a star... but I only realised today that this is a 'Shepherd Watching His Flock By Night' as the baby is born in Bethlehem (just visible in the distance). I also note that that 150 years ago artists were drawing the star and shepherds, rather than the biblical angels; contemporary cards almost universally have a star above Bethlehem, rarely do they have angels.
