Tarn swimming 5.1degrees

I didnt last long. Perhaps 1 minute. The other more experienced ice swimmers stayed in for longer. My hands and feet in particular felt the full blast. Trying to put on a pair of trousers on slippery terraine and buffeted by wind and sleet was a challenge but welcome after I had managed to scramble out.
I didnt spend much time drying myself. Just got the

 layers on.
The peanut butter sandwich was welcome. 
In wild swimming the technical term for my attempt was
A Dip.
The dog very sensibly wore a coat
