Sunday Backblip
Austria is doing COVID mass testing this month using a quick test. It was very well organised - we received an appointment in the mail which we had to confirm online giving our contact details. There was minimal waiting time in the town hall where the station was set up and we received our results via text message 20 minutes later. If the test is positive a PCR test needs to be performed at one of the hospital testing stations. We are negative, a relief, as the testing is to try to capture those infected that are not showing symptoms. It was a rather poor turnout - I can't believe the excuses I heard for not going and some of them came from friends of ours. To prove a point, some (responsible) friends tested positive and they had no symptoms.
Our test was at 5.30 pm so it was well dark when we went down. I tried to photograph the Christmas lights in the lonely main street but I had forgotten to check the SD card (missing). I can do about 4 RAW photographs in camera and this is one.
