Hibernating cacti

Most of the my mature cacti spend the winter in the cold greenhouse except a few tender varieties and these 'babies' in the photo. My experience is that Spring and Summer flowering improved greatly for many specimens after experiencing a winter chill in the greenhouse. Dampness and overwatering are the chief enemy of successful cactus growth in my experience so careful hibernation pays off.
