We all have bad days at work, normally the result of ridiculous decisions buy incompetent management, but sitting opposite Pete can brighten my day. Older than God's dog with more stories than Jacanory (You'll need to be of a certain age to get the reference), he has the same childish sense of humour which can ease the more challenging parts of my day.

I don't dislike my managers as people, I just dislike their management.
