The mail must get through!

This morning was very wet..but around 12.30 some blue sky appeared, so I took the chance and set off on the so called “Stepford Round” which is just over 3 miles, along the roads. I stopped for 10 minutes to talk to Morag, who was sweeping up fallen leaves. If we hadn’t been so friendly, I would have made it home without getting soaked, but 10 minutes from home, the heavens opened. At least I wasn’t very far away from a warm kitchen and a cup of tea.

The postie passed me on his way and was careful not to splash me as he negotiated this deep puddle on the road. More weather to come tomorrow,..
