Weeding Out the Forest

We live across from a park.  The area along the park road has had lots of trees, dead trees and unruly brush since we have lived here.  Well, no more! The parks department is doing a major weeding and this is the result.  it looks really different, but I think it is for the long term best.  I have seen too many trees break off in the wind to be comfortable walking along the path.
