The Bauble

This big pink bauble (ball or balloon) has appeared amongst the lights my neighbour hung on her tree and bushes. She is the lady who hangs flower baskets around the recycling shed and plants flowers in every bit of spare soil, even though we have gardeners in our complex. 
A nostalgic extra. This day 2018, I was with friends listening to the Waterbeach brass band playing music from the shows and Christmas carols with a line up of school children singing on stage. A wonderful event which I attend most years. Here I am in the interval with a sherry and mince pie.
