The Dome

Wrapped up, all glitzy as usual for this time of year, though it seemed more bling than I remember. 

Ventured into the city today for the first time in a long time, to meet my oldest friend for lunch. Felt more like normal, despite the hand sanitizer, face masks, sitting diagonally opposite, and not being allowed booze. It was good to have a proper long chat and browse the shops for a bit. Weather was miserable though.

This morning I took the Bug to rugby, and at one point he briefly wept about his cold, raw hands. He put in a sterling effort though, and kept going. The free hot chocolate at the end was a good reward.
