WHITE CRANE

The Japanese guy who ordered this guitar from CC wanted to call it "White Crane" and that is the meaning of the pictogram you can see through the sound hole.

Since visiting Japan for the first time in 1959, I have loved these funny, generous & enthusiastic people. They can be incredibly uptight & then incredibly open. They are nothing if not sentimental, wistful & nostalgic.

Think cherry blossom &  red maples, then see their extra white crane...
