A walk with old friends.

This morning we walked with a couple of our oldest friends. We planned the walk based on a good weather forecast and for once it proved to be the long expected window in the weather. The clear skies and welcome sunlight made for perfect walking conditions despite the deep puddles! Meeting in the street and not being able to offer hospitality in our houses have sadly become the new normal.
After lunch we walked to the organic fruit and veg shop on Porty High Street. We went along a busy beach at high tide with many swimmers taking advantage of the flat calm sea and null wind. Those without wet suits posed for the photos on the surf line but did not linger long in the water. I do not blame them!
