Sunny bike ride and a blast from the past

Well on such a lovely day I had to go out for another ride - solo this time. On my way back I stopped at my favourite high perch (was I a roosting hen in a previous existence?) for a splendid coffee break. In summer lockdown it was where I stopped to finish off my water bottle 10 miles from home. In the afternoon fitted a speedometer to a friend’s bike and had a good natter. Then the blast from the past extra is a photo that just surfaced from 18 years ago exactly of me on a climbing wall charity challenge event for WaterAid. It gave me a laugh out loud moment - climbing harnesses are not the most flattering garment, especially under tension.
