Helleborus Picotee

To make a change from going round the house looking for inspiration I spotted something outdoors.    The "Christmas Rose" is starting to flower.  We have a number of these round the patio,

This one is from the Picotee series of varieties and as you can tell from the opening bud had a lovely mix between the whites and a deep purplish red.  You will probably be subjected to another shot of this Hellebore as the flowers progress.
