Our National Theatre!

I think we are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful national theatre - Annie dreams about working there one day! Not only do they put on plays by unknown writers, using both extremely well-known actors and youngsters straight out of drama school....they also sell tickets at reasonable prices because of the subsidies.
We went to London especially to see Alan Bennett's play, People, which was good....but I didn't think quite as brilliant as The History Boys and The Habit of Art. We also went on the backstage tour which was extremely interesting - a great experience for a budding stage manager!
We then headed off over Waterloo Bridge in a very chill wind but I just managed to take this photo before my fingers turned to ice!
