2020 Sunday — Early BD Gift

Our friend Kim made Mr. Fun a comfort quilt. I’m calling it an early birthday gift. Kim & Steve asked him to come to their home to retrieve a gift she had made him.

He returned home full of fellowship from the stories the three of them told: laughter, tears, and memories is what he retold to me. It was the love that really “got” him as he shared it with me.

Affirmation is one of the most precious gifts a person can be given AND that’s what happened. I am often puzzled at how my funny man, Mr. Fun, does not realized how loved he is. His humor and his compassion seem very ordinary to him. Extraordinary isn’t in his personal dictionary.
