Blackwell

Pretty grey and dismal for much of today.  We popped up to Windermere for a browse around a couple of shops and then to  Blackwell where we had lunch.  Lovely Arts and Crafts which always has a lovely calm atmosphere. The shop is well curated and sells lovely products.  Well worth a visit.

Feeling very blue this evening as we have taken decision not to travel south for Christmas.  Spoke to both sons - we all agree that having listened to the advice today it is sensible in the circumstances, but very sad.
