Lent Lecture

No, not a new minister at our church - but Sutton Coldfield's MP, Andrew Mitchell (of plebgate fame). This was the third Lent Lecture, organised by all the churches in Sutton. The topic was "What Responsibility does Government have for the Poor, at Home and Overseas?"

Interesting to observe the differences to Brazilian politicians - less arrogance, more respect for people. But the same in cleverly sidestepping pointed questions...
