Iced Frogspawn

We've had a couple of very cold days and our small pond froze over during the night, freezing the top layer of frogspawn. After breaking the ice this morning, it was frozen again by the afternoon when I took this picture. Fortunately, there is an awful lot more under the surface. Frogspawn notwithstanding, Spring is not here yet.
