Christmas
Today was the last day with my brother and his family, I'm headed home tomorrow. I didn't see any wildlife today other then some geese on the river. Every day going to and from the hotel there is this Christmas display it seems an appropriate blip since today I also made our family's traditional Christmas meal. My sister in law has her traditions which my brother has embraced but he still requests the meal we grew up on when I'm here. I grew up with Sauerbraten as the traditional dinner meal complete with red cabbage, potato pancakes and gingersnap gravy. Felt like Christmas and tomorrow I get to go home and sleep in my own bed. Seeing my niece was wonderful she is a delightfully happy four year old and meeting the new nephew was good too but I'm ready to go home. I'm going to put a different view of this same yard in the extras, they had Rudolf, Clarice and some of the toys behind the yeti which were fun to see too. Both shots look better big.
