Sunny and Wet

It was sunny this morning but by the time I met my daughter in the park at about 2pm it was raining. We decided to meet up anyway with our umbrellas. I walked 11,200 steps so it was worth the effort. Tea from the cafe hatch and we walked round with it as no tables to sit.

It was quite dark by the time we left and the picture is looking through the children’s playground towards the floodlit football pitches. The children and adults really enjoy the football. It’s a great park. There is a cricket practice net, lots of tennis courts, a gym, and the main green is the cricket ground.
