Village Christmas tree

One of the local landowners  provides the village with a tree each Christmas which is erected in Old Bakery Square, Yealmpton and decorated by a band of volunteers which used  to go by the name of St Bart's Fast Action Response Team. Led by a former Merchant Navy Captain they preferred the acronym !! The present group are members of the Six o' clock Club who pre-covid used to gather at the pub for a swift half or more in the early evening.
