Day 9 - Get together

Today's 40 Acts for Lent is 'Get Together'. Unfortunately the get together I was part of was to mourn the sudden loss of a friend's Dad - a great man who moved from Liberia nearly 20 years ago and has been part of our church, raising his kids there, for all that time. Being African, everyone has been piling round to their house, telling stories, crying, being together... An honour to be part of it...

This evening Andrew 'Plebgate' Mitchell came to our church to give a talk on what the government's response to the poor, at home and overseas, should be...interesting.....
