Sunset

Only time for a quick snap of the sun sinking lower on the last day at school before the holidays. The kids are beyond excited, the teachers looked weary and relieved, and I'm not packed yet for our two-week four-centre holiday... But I did have time to make a hundred chocolate chip cookies and two lemon cakes, which, when added to yesterday's huge pot of bolognaise sauce and yummy box of pie insides, means we are all set for a week of eating in the mountains. Tomorrow morning the simple task of packing two sets of clothes for everyone, and squeezing it all in the car. Along with two over-excited children who are quite literally counting down the minutes until they get their skis on.
