Lindridge View

Us mortals don't get to see this view because it's on the road up to the private estate of Lindridge. It's guarded, not by armed militia but by a little old lady who stand ready to quiz anyone she doesn't think is entitled. Today, I had a card to deliver though but I didn't get accosted. She must have had a chiropody appointment or some such thing.

It was a lovely morning so I decided to ride up there on my bike which was lovely until it started raining. I stopped on the drive that leads up to the estate. The land which would have belonged to the grand house has gone for farming. I liked the way the sun was catching the trees in the foreground and of course there are those great trees up on the ridge.
