Market day

At nine.

I was later than normally. One hour to be exact. My excuse: I wasn't responsible for the care and homework supervision at school. The most important thing for today was getting homework ready for the first weeks after the Christmas break, when we will still be in lockdown.
I was also delayed because I was chasing and trying to 'catch' a kingfisher. I really saw one fly low over the river Gulp, in the centre of our village.
