Wigeon

Another fabulous bike ride out to a nearby nature reserve. Many ducks, geese and other water birds on display, but my favourite was this wigeon. I managed to catch this one in the act, not of quacking, but whistling! They really do make an unusual, unducklike sound.

p.s. This is the first time I have blipped a wigeon :o)
