Sanderling

I went down to the beach at the barrier between Burray and South Ronaldsay again. Well-prepared for the forecast showers- it stayed sunny the whole time. Lots of small waders - 130+ ringed plover, 30+ turnstone, 20+ purple sandpiper, c15 sanderling and some dunlin and redshank.
