Time...

... to bake the gingerbread cookies. The dough had time to rest and now the gingerbreads will have time till they are served on Christmas Eve :) My dad used to bake those with us every year... first time for me where he couldn’t come over and have a look if I’m doing it right... first time where I won’t get his final approval :/  Hubby helped and decided it went exactly like last year ;)
Extra: Happy birthday, mum.... a tender and emotional birthday with a present from dad I had to promise him to get for mum :(
