We had a fun day of Christmas crafts and activities. The children enjoyed making Christmas decorations and decorating the dolls house with tacky coloured tinsel and old baubles. The most popular choice of the day was wrapping old boxes in Christmas paper and presenting them to me with such pride on their faces you’d think they were giving me the Koh-I-Noor Diamond. I was finding it hard to act surprised and delighted after unwrapping the same old toothpaste packet for the tenth time so we put our wellies on and went for a play in the woods.
