Hug in an envelope...

Early rise this morning to be at the Health Centre for my MOT.  All seems well.  BP was particularly good, I suspect party because Christmas prep is a bit less stressful this year.

Back in time for Tesco delivery and was pleasantly surprised that only two festive food items were unavailable.  No problem, I have alternatives :-)

The rest of the morning was spent making something to finish off Ele's birthday gift. I hope she likes it.  

I'd just finished when the post arrived and there was her Christmas card containing this little glass Christmas tree ornament and a message saying "this is the closest we've had to a hug for a while."  Brought a wee tear to my eye :-)
